Context
Founded in China, BYD is one of the top EV producers in the world, creating high tech automobiles, forklifts, batteries, and more. Another intern and I were tasked to update the content of BYD's truck page, including pictures, videos, and text. I took it a little further and updated the visual design as well.

Old Homepage
The old homepage has a lot of outdated content. A lot of the text had to be updated or removed; we thought about a new tagline instead of "Hard At Work."

I played around with the aesthetic, giving it a more modern feel. We also added some more information to compete with other brands like Rivian and Tesla.

The current website was redone after I left the internship. The images and the information were updated based on our recommendation, but the design was done independently.

This project was a big learning curve for me since this is my first time designing for a client. Without properly understanding UX or UI principles, I made my best judgement on typography, layout, and user flows.
